F.U.M.Y. continues to grow in numbers and notoriety. Our active members are around 40. FUMY continues to be a group that shows God's love through community service. Each year we take on new projects and adventures. We want our church family and community to know that we are here to help the ones who support us. Our regular scheduled meetings are on the 1st & 3rd Wednesdays from 6:30 to 8:00, however we meet many times on an as needed basis for community service projects, fund-raisers, concerts, and other FUMY events. A F.U.M.Y. meeting consists of our church family providing a meal, singing worship music, a devotional, a message, and then time permitting, a game.

Upcoming events include ‘Shop With A F.U.M.Y.’. As a group we want to help families in our community who are struggling this Christmas. If a family has children from kindergarten through 6th grade and need assistance providing a little better Christmas then we are here to help. On December 16th the families will meet at the church for worship service along with a light lunch following. We will then depart for the Wauseon Walmart where their children will be taken by our F.U.M.Y. for some fellowship and shopping time.

This winter we will also be again offering snow removal for the members of our church and community who need it. Our annual outing to the Toledo Walleye hockey game is in the early planning stages. The last two years we have hosted fund raising events in late January and are looking to do that once again.

We will be forming a membership class for young adults High School age and older. If this might describe you or your son/daughter, please let Pastor Kathy know you are interested. The class will meet on Sunday afternoons and we will look at the United Methodist membership vows, our Social Principles, and other areas that the group is interested in. At the completion of the class, we will celebrate with these young folks as they profess their faith in Jesus Christ and join our church membership. If you would like to know more or are interested, contact Pastor Kathy or the church office.
